Napier Pirate Div 3 has been a long-standing team within the club over many years. Having its own culture based more around personal connection than around a competitive drive.

Re-established a few years ago, it has seen several former players return to wear the Skull & Crossbones and carry the team forward. New players in the mix bring energy and enthusiasm to the team and help shape the team’s vibe. A strong off field relationship has brought seasonal workers into the team and club, these guys add plenty of culture and fun to a Saturday afternoon. A true family focused team, it is not surprising to find plenty of tamariki on the sideline watching dad chase a rugby ball.

The Napier Pirate Div 3 team has a great blend of experience, youth, energy, pride and culture helping it to become a leading team in the Div 3 grade. Often in the play-off mix and winners of the division over recent seasons. On & off the field, Napier Pirate Div 3 upholds the core values of grassroots rugby.
